Jeff Hickcox is a partner with Hickcox, Robertson & Stunda, LLC. He holds Bachelor of Business Administration, Master of Business Administration, and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Georgia. He was a member of Gamma Iota Sigma (National Insurance Honorary Society) and served on the Editorial Board of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law. He was also a member of Sigma Chi fraternity.
Jeff is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia and the U.S. District Court Northern District of Georgia. He is a member of the Atlanta Bar Association and the State Bar’s Workers' Compensation and Litigation sections. Mr. Hickcox enjoys sailing, restoring antique motorcycles, and spending time with his wife and children. He has been voted a Super Lawyer by other attorneys in the State of Georgia for more than ten years running.
CLAYTON E. ROBERTSON

Clay Robertson is a partner with Hickcox, Robertson & Stunda, LLC. He is an honors graduate of the University of Florida and the Florida State University College of Law. He is a member of the State Bars of Florida and Georgia and is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the U.S. Air Force Court of Criminal Appeals, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, and the U.S. District Court Northern District of Georgia.
Clay is a member of the Georgia Bar’s Workers' Compensation and Litigation sections, the Atlanta Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, the Georgia Workers' Compensation Association, and the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association where he is a past Chair of the Workers' Compensation Law Committee. He holds a Medicare Set-aside Consultant Certified (MSCC) designation from the International Commission on Health Care Certification (ICHCC).
Clay also proudly served as a Judge Advocate in the U.S. Air Force on active duty and reserve and retired at the rank of Colonel after 21 years of service. Clay enjoys golf, college football and spending time with his wife and three children.
JOHN C. STUNDA
John’s practice focuses on workers’ compensation defense throughout the State of Georgia where he has been defending employers and insurers for over 15 years. John leverages this extensive knowledge in the area of workers’ compensation to aggressively defend his clients in the most cost-efficient manner. Over the years he has taken hundreds of depositions and tried a multitude of cases. John serves his clients in a variety of industries with experience in the retail, construction, school boards, professional practices, trucking, manufacturing and the food & beverage industries. He has worked with in-house counsel, risk managers, adjusters, human resource executives, TPAs and insurers throughout the state. He is also a frequent speaker at educational seminars regarding Georgia workers’ compensation law.
John obtained his B.S. in accounting at Birmingham-Southern college and his J.D. at the University of Alabama School of Law. He is admitted to all Georgia state courts, the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals and the U. S. District Court, Northern District of Georgia. He also maintains membership with the State Bar of Georgia, the Atlanta Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, Georgia Self Insurers Association and the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association where he previously served as the Chair of the Workers’ Compensation committee.
In his personal time, John volunteers his time in his community having served as Grand Knight of his local Knights of Columbus council and participating on numerous school action committees. For the past 10 years he has coached youth sports and is presently a Cub Scout Den leader.
MICHAEL E. MEMBERG
Michael Memberg represents employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation claims. He is licensed in both Georgia and Florida and has consistently obtained successful results for his clients at hearings and via settlement. Michael enjoys working with his clients to prepare for claims before they happen and speaking on workers’ compensation issues, and he has a particular focus on working with temporary staffing companies and professional employer organizations (PEOs). He has also worked with the Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta to provide education on workers’ compensation issues to non-profits.
Outside of the practice of law, Michael is a native Atlantan and proud supporter of the Atlanta sports teams and the Georgia Bulldogs. He lives in the Lake Claire neighborhood of Atlanta with his wife and son and their golden retriever.
